Who can attend the Graduation Ceremonies?

All students who are eligible to receive a degree, diploma or certificate can attend the relevant ceremony. Applying to attend a ceremony does not mean you are eligible to graduate. Eligibility is confirmed to us by the relevant School.

How many guest tickets will I get?

You can request up to 2 guest tickets. The application process allows you to select how many tickets you require up to 2. These will be available for you to collect when you check in for your ceremony. See below for check-in details. Those graduating do not require a ticket.

Ceremonies normally last between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.

What is the dress code?

Graduation ceremonies are a formal occasion and graduands are asked to dress smartly. e.g. male graduands are asked to wear a dark suit with a white shirt and white bow tie; female graduands are asked to wear a dark suit or dress. Highland Dress and other National Costumes are also acceptable.
